I knew you as a baby. Your mother and I met at Pitze's in Waterloo when we were both about 17 years old or so. We and another girl bonded for several years, but then I lost touch. I didn't know about your mom until a few months ago when I tried to find her to see about reconnecting. You were a cute baby...I am sure you grew into a handsome young man. So sorry to read about your passing.

One wonders why things like this happens but then we left on earth drudging on thinking how we could have made a difference in his life. Our sincere sympathy a year after we lost a grandson of our own. IT'S NOT EASY

We were both the new kids in town when we 1st met in 8th grade. It seemed like life would last forever and the fun times could never end. Your quick witted humor and quest for an adventure was fun and contagious. Rest in piece.

RIP Chris Gruver. I've known you since I was 13 years old. I will choose to remember the 15 year old I met before this crazy thing we call life happened. Peace.

I believe you are at peace finally, the amount of pain and suffering you endured the last two years was unbearable to see you go through. We've been a part of each others lives since our moms were friends back in the 70's. Words can't describe the sadness I feel---but my last visit with you was memorable and I will cherish it forever, It's your turn to look after me, side by side, through thick and thin like always. I know your in heaven-Tell your Momma-Aunt Jan & Uncle Jim Hello for me. I Love You...Until we meet again.....
