I am so sad to here that Luella has passed away. I was a classmate and Luella Weyant came after Wegner, so she sat behind me. She truly was a kind, pleasant classmate. She was faithful to attend the class reunions, and I can see her smile and warm welcome, It has left a memory. What a legacy she has left in her large family, that she was so proud of.You will be in our thoughts as you say Good Bye to your Mom.I'm glad that Luella crossed my path in life. Our sincere sympathy to all of you.

Over the 23 years married to Vernon (Junior), and our many many trips to Iowa, we always made time to see John and Luella. Although I'm outside the family link, I considered both of them close friends. It saddens me that I can not be there to support the family in their loss. I have 3 trips planned this summer, and one was to be in Iowa in July when I was planning to stop by and see her. It pains me to know that I can't stretch another trip at such a crucial time. Please know that my heart is weeping as is yours. My condolences to all family and extended family. I will treasure all those pictures that I got teased for taking through the years, and all the fun times we had together. She was truly a treasure to all who knew her. Her presence will truly be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can remember Luella as such a warm woman; she always had a kind word, a welcoming heart and her hospitality was always generous. She always had a twinkle in her eye when she spoke of those grandkids too. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will always be cherished.
